How it works.
-
1. Read the terms and conditions.
They cover student requirements, rescheduling, and other important stuff.
-
2. Choose online or in-person.
I tutor both. Online tutoring is through Google Meet. In-person tutoring is at the Escondido High School College and Career Center and Starbucks. I don’t offer in-home tutoring, but may in the future.
-
3. Pick a time.
Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes. If no times fit your schedule or you would like to change the appointment duration, let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
-
4. Enter your information.
I only need name and email. Your data stored securely on Squarespace servers and is not shared with any other parties. If you become a regular customer, consider saving your information to expidite rebooking.
-
5. Pay with card or PayPal
I accept all major cards and PayPal. The payment processor is Stripe. Stripe is one of the largest payment processors. They provide payment services for Twitter, Fitbit, WolframAlpha and others.
-
6. Receive a confirmation email.
The email contains the meeting details, a calendar invitation, a meeting link, and a link to cancel or reschedule.
-
7. Receive a reminder email.
A reminder is sent 24-hours before the appointment. It contains all the same meeting information. If it’s a bother, let me know and I'll turn it off.
-
8. We meet.
The first session includes a brief introduction. Parents are welcome to attend, ask questions, and provide direction. Webcams are optional. If this is your first session, get it for free with code newbie. If you qualify SNAP, NSLP, or are in financial hardship, use code freebie.
-
9. We learn.
I am here to help you learn math, any way possible. Let me know how you like learning. My most popular services are homework help and test preperation. For unstructured learning, I use educational games like Quizizz and Kahoot. For structured learning, I use Khan Academy and class textbooks.

10. Your child performs better.
Math develops memory and logic. It is important. Don’t wait.
