Student Requirements

Tutoring sessions are:

one-on-one
available to ages 9-18
in the subjects of
- elementary math
- prealgebra
- algebra
- geometry
- trigonometry
- precalculus
- blocks (code.org)
- java
- javascript

It is required that the student be seated at a desk or table in a quiet (as possible) space with:

a computer (or laptop)
a microphone
a google account
and google chrome

Students are encouraged to email questions, class material, and homework prior to sessions.

Sessions

The first session will include a screening and short introduction. Sessions start and end precisely at the times scheduled. Recording is not currently available, however clients are encouraged to record and review progress. We meet via Google Meet, use Google Jamboard as an interactive whiteboard, and test using Quizizz.

Rates & Payment

The current rate is $17 per hour when purchased individually or $16 per hour when purchased as a 5-pack. I accept all major credit cards and Paypal. Reduced rates are available for those enrolled in NSLP, SNAP, CalFresh, or those in financial hardship.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

Rescheduling and Cancellations are available through the website up to 1 hour before the scheduled event. If technical difficulties occur, I will call or email to reschedule at no additional cost.

Privacy Policy

The only parent/guardian data collected is:

first and last name
email address
phone number
and scheduled events

The only student data collected is:

first name
email address
session scores
and session notes

Parent and student data is not shared with other parties. I do not collect data submitted to payment providers.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

For parents with children under the age of 13, COPPA requires the parent to consent to the collection of their child’s data before services may be provided. Parents may email me to review or delete student information.
